The Beaumont mattress is a non-turn pillow top mattress. Due to the huge success of the Premier Inn pillow top mattress we developed the Beaumont for our standard range. Although Premier Inn is a 2-3* chain, they put the emphasis on sleep and have selected a 5* bed. Premier Inn operates 650 hotels in the UK alone, with over 60,000 rooms. This is the only bed they buy and they even mention it by name in their television advertising campaign. This is a non-turn mattress with a fixed topper. Not having to turn the mattress or having to re-position the topper every time the bed is made will save you a considerable amount of time in the house keeping department, which also represents a cost saving. The Beaumont is also used by many independent hotels including, Hotel Kronenhirsch OG (Austria), The Golden Age of Athens (Greece) & Liberty Wharf Apartments (Jersey).

Benefits of selecting Hypnos Beds
Tufting:
All of Hypnos mattresses are tufted rather than quilted.
Tufts keep the fillings in their correct position, which eliminates the use of of glue and chemical materials required in the production process, in line with our green credentials.
Tufting promotes air circulation. Efficient air circulation assists the body in regulating its temperature during the night, improving the quality of the guests’ sleep.
Tufts also prevent the mattresses from sagging. In any mattress, the fillings will naturally settle over time. In a quilted mattress this decrease in volume will lead to the fabric covers becoming loose. The use of tufts keeps the mattress under permanent tension, preventing any loosening.

Fillings:
We do not use any foam – Foam is bad for the environment and retains the heat and moisture.
Instead of using foam Hypnos use natural or sustainable materials such as wool or polyester which is made from recycled plastic bottles.
The natural and sustainable materials we use help to regulate the body temperature providing the guest with a more comfortable nights sleep. These materials also help to wick away moisture, which is great for properties in warmer climates.
At the end of their life Hypnos mattress are 100% recyclable, meaning they do not need to end up in landfill. Using these types of fillings helped up to become the first British bed manufacture to become carbon neutral.

Pockets V Foam encasing:
Hypnos mattresses are not foam encased which means the guests benefit from luxury pocket springs on the entire sleep surface, utilising around 25% more springs than in a foam encased mattress.
When a person moves on the bed the springs compress and retract, during this movement the hot air within the mattress is blown out of the vents in the border.
When the springs are foam encased it becomes more difficult for the hot air to escape from the mattresses.

HealthGuard is the no.1 anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and anti bed bug treatment, which offers unprecedented hygienic advantages to guests with allergies. Both sides, and both sleeping surfaces, of all these products are treated with HealthGuard which helps to protect guests from bed bugs while they are asleep – it also helps to protect the hotel’s reputation from bad reviews and publicity.
There are other bedbug treatments on the market which deter bedbugs but not necessarily kill on contact like HealthGuard.

Fire Retardancy:
All of our contract beds meet BS7177 Medium Hazard fire standards covering European hospitality hotel fire regulations.
Imported beds purchased from retail stores do not necessarily meet the relevant FR regulations for hospitality use.
